The comparison study of usability test methodology based on eye-tracking technology EI Scopus

Abstract :

Eye-tracking technology, as an objective-recording method of user’s eye movement data, has widely been applied in human–computer interface usability test. The quantitative analysis of eye movement data is good at comparing different UI designs; however, it can hardly probe the influential factors of usability issues from a UCD perspective. This research aimed at improving the validity of usability test, and tried to fill in the gap of merely applying eye movement data in usability test. In this paper, we compared the characteristics and differences of concurrent and retrospective think-aloud on UI usability evaluation, which were combined with eye-tracking system. We found that concurrent think-aloud would interfere users during the tests, thus increased their mental stress and cognitive workload, which suits assessing simple-operation and low-cognitive-workload tasks; the retrospective think-aloud enables user to operate more naturally, thus is proper for more complex task chain testing. Moreover, the retrospective think-aloud is more efficient for analyzing the cognitive factors of usability issues in-depth. © Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2018.

Abstract :

The features of the human behaviors were collected by camera and extracted with OpenCV in order to predict the emotions of individuals with the help of PAD scales based on previous studies. Ten subjects were requested to express their emotions through body movements, which were induced by Chinese folk music involving positive, middle and negative emotions. The states of subjects' emotions were evaluated by PAD scales while the behaviors of subjects were collected by camera. The features of individual behaviors were extracted with the characteristic of silhouette, including the relative areas of the individual silhouettes and their rate of change. The emotions of behaviors were classified by support vector machine with the evaluation of emotional scales in order to realize the emotional prediction of the behavioral features. The results realized the emotional classification of behaviors, and the prediction accuracy rate came to 76.92% with the categories of positive and negative emotions. © 2018, Zhejiang University Press. Abstract :

To measure and evaluate the astronauts' workload of on-orbit maintenance, based on timeline analysis and multi-resource theory, the subjective and objective comprehensive evaluation of the workload was carried out by using two dimensions of “indirect acquisition value of the resource demand occupancy rate” and “direct measurement value of the occupied time”. A workload evaluation model based on dynamic time scene and time resource occupancy was put forward. In order to verify the effectiveness of the proposed model, the maintenance experiment of the liquid circuit subsystem, as a typical on-orbit maintenance task, was established. Testees were recruited to obtain the subjective workload questionnaires, maintenance videos were acquired, and the occupation time of therbligs was measured. The results reveal that the workload values of the proposed model have good agreement and significant correlation with subjective workload evaluation values. Hence the effectiveness of the workload evaluation model is validated. © 2017, Editorial Board of JBUAA. All right reserved.

生化分析仪人机界面可用性因素结构模型研究

Abstract :

本文在分析可用性定义及Jacob Nielsen、ISO9241-11、Shackle、SUMI等建立的可用性因素结构模型的基础上,结合生化分析仪的应用环境、专业性及问卷调查提取的可用性一级、二级因素,建立了适合生化分析仪人机界面的可用性因素结构模型,并对模型中的可用性因素进行了权重考量.最后,以校企合作医疗项目的人机界面设计应用为例,来验证上述模型.该模型不但有助减轻医疗设备研发人员及医护操作人员的脑力负荷,还提高了其工作效率和工作质量.

本文依据16年的调查经验和数据,分析了如何进行颜色调查,<em>大学</em>生喜好的颜色分布及主要颜色对他们的心理感受,还比较了一般<em>大学</em>生与艺术类学生喜好颜色的差异,最后专题分析了为什么服装和空调款式变化很快,满意度和舒适度概念使用存在问题.
