Design and practice of arduino experiments for "e&I" oriented education EI Scopus

Abstract :

The Internet is playing an essential role in current society and economy. Chinese government recently kicked off a reform endeavor of massive Entrepreneurship and Innovation (E&I) over the Internet. In conjunction with the "Internet +" based development in both the society and economy, it is necessary to strengthen the students' ability of E&I in undergraduate education. In this paper, we present a new design and practice of Arduino experiments in an undergraduate computer course, which implements the E&I oriented education reform. We conduct a survey among the students and the results show the effectiveness of our experimental designs. © 2018 Association for Computing Machinery.

Abstract :

It is important to prepare students with the capabilities required by the Chinese national development strategy and with competencies driven by a rapidly emerging field of information technology (IT). The Ministry of Education of China as well as colleges and universities are taking actions to redefine IT education programs at the baccalaureate-degree level. The emphasis on IT programs has been moving from traditional computer science studies to innovative IT fields such as network engineering, artificial intelligence and cloud computing. This paper provides an overview of IT education development in China. It introduces three newly established pilot IT programs focusing on internet of things, big data, and application computer science and technology. It also maps these programs into the ACM/IEEE IT2017 framework with an emphasis on flexibility to accommodate diverse industry needs. Additionally, this work addresses the future directions for an evolving IT educational transformation in China that reflects national development goals for the next decade. © 2018 Association for Computing Machinery.

Multi-threshold algorithm about image segmentation based on polynomial uniform approximation EI Scopus CSCD PKU

Abstract :

Aiming at those shortcomings of previous multi-threshold image segmentation algorithm such as large complexity and instability caused by the image histogram glitch interference, a new multi-threshold image segmentation algorithm was proposed using Bernstein polynomial to uniformly approximate histogram curve. First, according to the approximation theory of Weierstrass to construct Bernstein polynomial for the histogram curve, then more difficult peak value calculating of the histogram was reduced to the Bernstein polynomial extremal generating, that was exported easily by the first and second derivative of Bernstein polynomial function, and finally obtain the actual peak value of the image histogram by picking up these extremes and polar values and filtering through classification algorithm, and finish multi-threshold image segmentation. Experimental results show that the algorithm is insensitive for histogram glitch interference, the overall is stable, the redundant computation and time complexity are smaller, with less time and high efficiency, the approximate performance and segmentation effect are better. © 2016, Editorial Board of Journal on Communications. "翻转课堂"教学模式在国外已兴起数年,但多应用于小规模班级.结合国内计算机基础课程教学现状和学生特点,在"<em>大学</em>计算机"MOOC建设基础上,面向本科一年级新生,开展大规模班级教学环境下混合教学探索,将SPOC、翻转课堂、传统教学模式进行有机融合.历经一个完整教学环节的实践,证明了在大班教学环境下采用混合教学的可行性,以及混合教学在促进学生综合能力提升方面的显著效果.

Abstract :

为了培养非计算机专业<em>大学</em>生的计算思维能力,在“<em>大学</em>计算机基础”课程教学中引入程序设计内容已成各大高校的共识,但选择何种程序设计语言仍然观点不一.本文针对大一新生的实际情况,提出使用Python作为本课程的教学语言,并设计了具体的教学过程.实践表明,和C++等传统语言相比,Python语言可以更好地满足不同程度学生的学习需求.

为了在课堂教学之外进一步提升<em>大学</em>生的计算机实践技能,计算机学科竞赛越来越得到各个高校的重视,而参赛学生的赛前培训是竞赛准备的最重要环节之一.文章通过对国内外知名高校赛前培训过程的调研,分析了竞赛培训的几种模式,提出了有关规范计算机学科竞赛赛前培训工作的几点建议,以提高学生参赛的积极性和主动性,为取得更好的竞赛成绩打下坚实的基础.

随着MOOC/SPOC在全球教育领域的兴起,各大高校基本都进行了基于SPOC的混合式教学尝试,取得了一定的成果.但新教学模式难以有效利用传统课堂的教学资源,针对混合式教学的特殊要求开发新的教学资源类型—"电子教具"已成为了当务之急.我校"<em>大学</em>计算机基础"教学团队一直致力于本课程电子教具资源库的建设,实践表明,电子教具在降低混合式教学教学难度,提高学生兴趣,增强学习效果方面,起到了显著的作用.
