高压XLPE绝缘电力电缆缓冲层与金属护层结构设计仿真计算与优化

Abstract :

针对近年来电力系统运行的XLPE绝缘高压电缆因缓冲层发生的故障与隐患增多,就缓冲层、金属护层对电缆的作用,通过测量缓冲层等材料的相关参数,运用有限元 (Ansys)软件仿真计算了高压电缆的电场分布,分析了不同优化条件下缓冲层结构的影响,提出了高压电缆缓冲层与金属护层结构设计优化建议.

Pseudospark-sourced sheet electron beam for application in high power millimeter wave radiation generation EI CPCI-S

Abstract :

This paper presents the plasma-sourced sheet electron beam generation based on a pseudospark discharge. This beam source has advantages of high current density, ion-channel assisted beam focus, long life and simplicity with no external guiding magnetic field needed for beam transportation. A collimator of cross section size of 2.0mm x 0.25mm is used in the sheet beam generation and propagation experiments. Sheet beam currents in the range of 6A to 21 A (similar to 10(4) A/cm(2) current density) and peak voltage of similar to 32 kV were measured after the sheet beam has propagated a distance of 10-mm without any external focusing magnetic field. Furthermore the pseudospark-sourced sheet electron beams were successfully used to drive both a W-band (75-110 GHz) and a G-band (200 GHz) planar extended interaction oscillator (EIO), with beam tunnel of approximately 2.8mm x 0.5mm and 1.0 mm x 0.17 mm in cross sectional size respectively.

Abstract :

Lightning electromagnetic fields can couple to overhead power transmission and distribution lines, causing serious effects to the power system. Lightning electromagnetic fields that couple to overhead lines have a non-uniform distribution along the line conductors. Therefore, to ensure the accuracy of the numerical calculation results, a large number of discretization points are needed along the line, which might dramatically increase the computation time since the evaluation of lightning electromagnetic fields in presence of a lossy soil involves, in general, Sommerfeld integrals. This paper proposes a new approach to address this problem. The proposed approach is based on the Agrawal et al. coupling model, in which the horizontal lightning electric field along the line is represented by a series of first-order exponential functions in the frequency domain using the matrix pencil method. The method is highly efficient in terms of computation time since the lightning induced response of the line can be solved semi-analytically. The proposed approach is validated by two different validation examples. IEEE

Abstract :

This article presents the investigation of millimetre wave extended interaction oscillation (EIO) using both pencil and sheet-shaped pseudospark (PS)-sourced electron beams. A W-band (75-110 GHz) pencil beam Extended Interaction Oscillator (EIO) was designed and constructed to operate for the first experiment with the output power of 38 W achieved from a four-gap PS discharge operating at 30.5 kV. To increase the output power of the EIO, PS-sourced beam generation was further advanced with an integrated post-acceleration section and a PS sheet-beam.

Abstract :

Plasma synthetic jet (PSJ) is a new active flow control actuator. Currently, the most of the studies focuses on the excitation characteristic of PSJ rather than the application characteristic in flow fields. In order to further investigate the ability of the PSJ actuators to control the low-speed flow separation on a high lift configuration, this paper installs plasma synthetic jet actuator (PSJA) on the leading edge of wing and studies the influence of PSJA on the lift characteristics of wing. Results show that the flow separation can be suppressed by PSJ. PSJ in a large frequency range can produce efficient control results in near stall angle of attack condition. However, in post stall angle of attack condition, the PSJ with a low-frequency is better. With the increase of input voltage, the effective frequency range is widened. With the increase of inflow velocity, the control effect becomes worse. When the inflow velocity is 20m/s, the stall angle of attack increases 5°, the maximum lift coefficient increases 8.1%; when the inflow velocity rises to 40m/s, the stall angle of attack increases 3°, the maximum lift coefficient increases 4.5%. © 2017, Editorial Department of Journal of Propulsion Technology. Abstract :

A pseudospark-sourced electron beam is a promising candidate for driving a THz millimeter wave radiation source. However, the physics governing the electron beam density profile and the beam center deviation from the axis of the structure, which may be caused by the randomness in the pseudospark discharge process, remains still unclear especially for the high energy component of the pseudospark-sourced electron beam, which is usually non-mono-energetic. It is essential to study the electron beam density profile and the beam center position distribution for optimizing the pseudospark discharge configuration. In this paper, images of some single-shot electron beam pulses have been captured using a 50 mu m thickness stopping copper foil and a phosphor screen coated with a P47 scintillator to study the electron beam density profile and the beam center position distribution of the high energy component of the electron beam. The experiments have been carried out on two pseudospark discharge configurations with two different size hollow cathode cavities. The influence of the cathode aperture of each configuration has also been studied according to the beam images. Experimental results show that the beam profile of the high energy component has a Lorentzian distribution and is much smaller than the axial aperture size with the beam centers dispersing within a certain range around the axis of the discharge structure. The pseudospark-sourced electron beam with a larger hollow cathode cavity shows a smaller full width at half maximum radius and a more concentrated beam center distribution. Abstract :

During its conductive phase, a pseudospark discharge is able to generate a low energy electron beam with a higher combined current density and brightness compared with electron beams formed from any other known type of electron source. In this paper, a configuration is proposed to postaccelerate an electron beam extracted from a single-gap pseudospark discharge cavity in order to achieve high quality high energy intense electron beams. The major advancement is that the triggering of the pseudospark discharge, the pseudospark discharge itself, and the post-accelerating of the electron beam are all driven by a single high voltage pulse. An electron beam with a beam current of similar to 20 A, beam voltage of 40 kV, and duration of similar to 180 ns has been generated using this structure. The beam energy can be adjusted through adjusting the amplitude of the voltage pulse and the operating voltage of the whole structure, which can be varied from 24 to 50 kV with an efficient triggering method under fixed gas pressure below similar to 10 Pa. Abstract :

The experimental study of a pseudospark discharge sourced electron beam with post acceleration (PA) is presented. The PA circuit was used to drive a W-band extended interaction oscillator. The experiments showed a significant increase in the output power, with 200 W at 94 GHz measuring corresponding to a 5 times increase in the output power as compared to when post acceleration is not used. The microwave device developed has the advantage of not requiring an external magnetic field making it a low cost, compact, and portable sub-terahertz radiation source. Published by AIP Publishing.
