Abstract:

Using the CFX software, the flow and heat transfer characteristics of air in serpentine cooling channel was numerical simulated, and the computational model as well as the method was proved. The applicability of turbulence model was also compared and chosen. Based on the above, the flow and heat transfer characteristics of steam in serpentine cooling channel were numerical simulated; the effects of steam overheat, rib tabulators angles and V-type rib tabulators on flow and heat transfer were analyzed. The results show that the computational results by using SSG turbulence model is better consistent with the experimental values; The steam overheat has little effect on the heat transfer. Compared with smooth channels, ribbed channels reduce the impact of the turn. The heat transfer effect of V-type rib tabulators is better than that of the parallel type.
