Abstract:

Three-dimensional numerical simulation on the process of convective heat transfer enhancement of a heated plate in a channel by corona windwasconducted by using commercial code COMSOL Multiphysics. In this paper, the distribution of velocityand electrical forcein the channel were studied, and the variation of convective heat transfer coefficientunder three different flow conditions were investigated. The result reveals thatthe electric force is an important factor affecting the enhancement ofconvection heat transfer by corona wind. © 2015, Science Press. All right reserved.
