Abstract:
To suppress output current amplification, virtual resistor damping strategy is widely used in LCL type inverter control. Existing virtual resistor is mainly used in application of fundamental harmonic energy transformation, ignoring its influence on output harmonic current control. This will adversely affect output harmonic current control. For application in active power filter (APF), load harmonic current compensation performance is hardly guaranteed. Based on comparison between inverter model with virtual resistor damping and 2nd order low-pass filter, the method of optimizing virtual resistance is found. And based on the approximate 2nd order low-pass filter model, reference current compensation method is presented. The output current control performance is guaranteed. Simulation and experiment results are provided to validate correctness of the modeling and effectiveness of the virtual resistor control and phase compensation control. © 2018, Power System Technology Press.
