Abstract:
To evaluate the effect on remnant vibration suppression using the interior inlay viscous fluid unit method (IVFUM) for the moving flexible structure, the self-adaptive remnant vibration suppression experiment for the IVFU Euler beam is carried out in the rotation excitation and the remnant vibration signals are processed. Considering that the signal is non-stationary and the modal parameters are time-variant, an integrative signal processing method combining with wavelet packets, empirical mode decomposition (EMD), random decrement technique (RDT) and Hilbert transform (HT) is proposed. The first mode responses signal of the rotating IVFU Euler beam is extracted and the first modal parameters (equivalent mode damping ratio and no-damping natural frequency) are obtained. It is demonstrated that both the IVFUM for the rotating flexible structure remnant vibration suppression and the corresponding signal processing methods are efficient.
