Abstract:
The hidden trouble, when using mobile communication devices under explosive gas environment, is studied in this paper. The mobile communication devices will radiate electromagnetic energy when they are in work. Some of the energy will be absorbed by the conductors or medium placed in the field. If the absorbed energy discharges under certain condition and the energy excesses the minimal igniting energy (MIE) of the explosive gas, explosion will occur. This article analyses the transfer of electromagnetic energy and an energy-discharging model is made. It will provide reference it,hen making the safety standard of using mobile communication devices under explosive gas environment.
