目的：本研究通过建立体外培养牛眼小梁细胞（bovine trabecular meshwork cell, TM cell）的方法，观察转化生长因子-β1(Transforming Growth Factor-β1, TGF-β1)对体外培养的牛眼小梁细胞的生长抑制作用和胶原合成的增强作用，并且初步研究tranilast对TGF-β1的对抗作用，从而探讨TGF-β1对房水引流的调节作用及在青光眼的发病机制中的意义。对tranilast从发病学环节治疗青光眼的可能性进行初步研究，为青光眼的临床用药开辟一条新
