Abstract:

In this article, our main goal is to establish a novel functional poly (amidoamine) dendrimer with cyclodextrin core for further application in the complex drugs delivery system. Therefore, the different generation poly(amidoamine) dendrimers with a core of cyclodextrin (CP) were synthesized via the divergent approach by using (aminoethyl) amino-beta-cyclodextrin (EDA-beta-CD) and methyl acrylate as the starting materials. Then the CP modified by salicylaldehyde (CPS) having different generations was obtained by co molecular interaction of various dendrimers with bovine serum albumin (BSA) was a investigated by ndensation reaction. All of them were characterized by H-1-NMR, C-13-NMR and IR. The molecular interaction between various dendrimers with bovine serum albumin (BSA) was investigated by fluorescence in buffer solution (pH = 7.4). The results show that BSA fluorescence was strongly quenched by the two types of dendrimers. As shown by K-sv values, the quenching mechanism was a static quenching one, and the data increase with the increases of generation. In addition, the two types of dendrimers (CP and CPS) possess higher interaction ability than the corresponding dendrimers with an ethylenediamine core,which indicates that the dentrimers with a core of cyclodextrin and end groups modified by salicylaldehyde can enhance the ability of interaction between dendrimers and BSA.
