Abstract:
Renewable energy has been vigorously developed in recent years. However, considering the characteristics of intermittence and stochastic volatility, it will be hard to schedule the smart grid with renewable energy accessing. Reasonable optimized dispatching can consume more renewable energy, because the development of pumped storage and demand response brings more flexibility to optimal dispatch of power system. Therefore, an optimal dispatching model for power system containing various renewable energy is proposed in this paper. The impact of pumped storage and demand response on the renewable energy consumption is also included. With the economic efficiency as objective function, the established shortterm optimal dispatching model is combined with the interaction of demand response and the hydropower model with pumped storage. Finally, the case study is performed based on a 63-unit test system, and results verify the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed model. © 2019 IEEE.
