Abstract:
In this paper, a compact, high-selectivity and wideband high-temperature superconducting (HTS) bandpass filter (BPF) with a narrow notched-band is reported. This wideband BPF is realized using a multi-mode resonator (MMR) with two different T-shaped stubs. For improving the filter selectivity, multiple transmission zeros, which are located close to either side of the wide passband, were created by loaded stubs and source-load coupling technique. Moreover, two identical λ/2 spiral resonators are inserted into the filter to create a narrow notched-band. Finally, simulation results of the proposed filter show good performances and compact size. © 2018 IEEE.
