Abstract:

This paper investigates damping solution of LLCL filter for T-type three-phase three-level grid connected inverters. A complete design process of LLCL filter with three-level topology is presented and the potential threat of inductive grid impedance to system stability is analyzed. The active damping control strategy using capacitor current feedback in stationary frame is discussed and carefully designed in the discrete domain. The simulations are conducted in PLECS and the results are consistent with the theoretical analysis. © 2020 IEEE.
