Abstract:

Air-side heat transfer and pressure drop performances of nine triangular wavy fin-and-tube heat exchanger coils were experimentally investigated. The Nusselt number and friction factor correlations were provided in a wide range of Reynolds numbers. The results revealed the effects of fin space and the number of tube rows on heat transfer and pressure drop. In addition, the present results were compared with those of plain plate fin and triangular wavy fin heat exchanger surfaces in the literature.
