Abstract:
An accurate method to calculate the two dimensions Green's functions in a magneto-electro-elastic and multilayered plates is presented. Firstly, in order to find approximately the complex wave numbers which represent propagating, non-propagating and evanescent modes, the strip element method is employed. Based on these approximated wave numbers and the exact dispersion equation obtained by propagation matrix method, the Muller's method is used to solve the accurate wave numbers. Then the Green's functions in a magneto-electro-elastic multilayered system are derived with the modal summation technique and propagation matrix method. Finally, several numerical examples, including pure elastic and magneto-electro-elastic multilayered plates are used to check and illustrate the formulations presented in this paper. And the influences of different stacking sequences and loads on the Green's functions of the multilayered system are analyzed and pointed out.
