©,　2015,　China　Mechanical　Engineering　Magazine　Office.　All　right　reserved.The　existing　production　process　of　roller　parts　in　PRS　was　analyzed,　and　the　possibility　of　existing　plastic　forming　processes　using　to　manufacture　roller　was　discussed.　A　new　plastic　forming　process　for　mass　manufacture　of　rollers　was　introduced,　where　the　thread　and　spline　shapes　of　the　roller　were　formed　by　simultaneously　rolling.　The　feasibility　of　the　new　plastic　forming　process　was　investigated　by　numerical　simulation,　and　this　process　was　also　suitable　for　high　efficiency　precision　manufacture　of　shaft　part　with　similar　features.
