The　micro-powder　of　beta-SiC　was　synthesized　from　gangue.　The　influences　of　temperature,　particle　size　and　content　of　beta-SiC　on　the　non-liner　electrical　conductivity　were　studied.　The　effect　of　anti-corona　property　of　mixture　of　beta-SiC　and　alpha-SiC　together　with　lacquer　was　discussed.　Authors　of　this　paper　consider　that　the　beta-SiC　made　from　gangue　could　be　used　to　replace　alpha-SiC　as　anti-corona　material.
