Abstract:
Turbulent model of power law fluid was presented according to power law fluid constitution equation and the influence of flow exponent. Using semi-implicit method for pressure-linked equations, the numerical computations were worked out for power law fluid. The result was satisfied with the experiment. Analysis of the result indicates that the variation tendency of power law fluid turbulent flow is varied according to the variation of flow exponent. It is concluded that the material parameter -flow exponent has an important influence upon turbulent flow.
