Abstract:

Steady increase and low emission requirements for vehicle, initiated material company develop new test equipment for their small lighter material. In this paper, a new test rig from DuPont China is investigated using Boundary Element Method (BEM) method; Based on this numerical simulated test rig, one kind of DuPont new light PET material Insertion Loss (IL) performance is also investigated with this numerical test rig model; Comparing with the test data provided from DuPont China, the numerical analysis results show that the test rig and PET material insertion loss can effectively and accurately simulated. The authors also present details related to test rig numerical modeling and errors.
