Abstract:

In order to make the arc discharge channel be more easily and effectively established in short electric arc machining (SEAM), this paper established a simulation model of the power source based on Matlab and verified the feasibility and stability of the feedback loop in SEAM process. Through short arc electric cutting machining experiment, the electrical characteristics of the power source in SEAM, it meets the requirements of SEAM. The resutls provide important technical support for the understanding the short electric arc machining mechanism. © 2016, Harbin Research Institute of Welding. All right reserved.
