Translated Abstract
AbstractChildren emotion intelligence disability result into the ill-adaptive abilities, we find the model of emotion intelligence disability in the depression, aggressive, naughty, body disable children. Emotion intelligence has very good development though it is influenced by the inherit factor, mostly by the later factors. Emotion intelligence could be developed and cultivated through study and environment. Childhood is the critical period to develop the Emotion intelligence. At present, our country has no the scale to test children emotion intelligence. Once abnormal mantal behavior were founded in children , it cannot be evaluate the metal disorder and amounts of emotional problem behind the abnormal behavior by teachers and doctors. it can quickly screen the matter children in 7-8 minuters.Emotion Expression Scale for Children (EESC) is to test the two main aspects of emotion intelligence: Poor Awareness Factor is lack of the self-awareness ability, Expressive Reluctance Factor is reluctant and inactive to express the negative emotion. To develop the EESC scale used widely in the abroad into Chinese version and evaluate its reliability and validity from the psychometric aspect, we evaluate in the cities of Guangxi, Shaan’xi, Inner Mongolia, Fujian and Hebei, collecting 1265 questionnaires from the children and 51 test-retest questionnaires,879 questionnaires of father samples and 951 questionnaires of mother samples. At the corresponding period, we collect 46 questionnaires of mental-troubled children in Medical University in Baotou. We made the analysis of differentiator and the correlation, using the Cronbach‘s Alpha and the test-retest reliability to test its reliability, using Construct validity, Criterion validity to test validity. We calculated the practical common standard and the emotion intelligence poor positive rates in the children sample. The results are as follows:(1) EESC scale has good differentiator, the factors are significantly positive-correlated, Two factors has significantly positive correlation with the total score, it shows that the scale has the moderate internal consistency.(2) Reliability :The cronbach‘ s alpha coefficient was 0.7949 in the total score, the test-retest reliability of single item and these two factors and total scale is stability.(3) Validity:Construct validity, the two factors explain 42.64% of the total variance, the largest load of the items is 0.71, the lowest is 0.48, it shows that the validity is not so good. Criterion validity, the two factors of Emotion Expression Scale for Children (EESC) has significantly positive correlation with Depression Self-rating Scale for Children、Social Anxiety Scale for Children), and they have the negative correlation with the six factors in Children‘s Self-Concept Scale. The EESC has better criterion validity. Differentiate validity, normal children group and disorder group have significant difference. (4) The reference of the common standard: to set the the reference of the common standard according to two groups 8-10 years old and 11-12 years old. For 8-10 years old, the score of Poor Awareness Factor is more than 29;the score of Expressive Reluctance Factor is more than 28;for 11-12years old , the score of Poor Awareness Factor is more than 29;The score of Expressive Reluctance Factor is more than 29.(5) At present, 4% children for our country children sample have self-awareness disorder, and 2.5% have emotion expressing difficult.(6) Through compareing the children’s emotion expression with east and west in the different age, gender, and peoples children, there is no more difference except age factor was founded, so that the prscticality appliation suggestion was brought forwards by this analysis. Conclusion:The EESC Chinese version is good by psychology metrologr estimated, the Criterion validity and Differentiate validity are better than Construct validity in EESC. The research provides the reference of the common standard. EESC is a valuable and accurate measure tool to check the emotion problems for children.
