Abstract:

Applying automatic aerodynamic optimization method of 3D cascade, the first stage nozzle of E3turbine was optimized for the maximization of the total pressure coefficient by constraining the mass flow rate and total pressure ratio. The total pressure coefficient of the optimum design has 0.8% higher than that of reference design. The optimal design blade shows a better aerodynamic performance than that of reference design. The result demonstrates that the method has good performance and is adapted to the aerodynamic optimization.
