Abstract:
Barium titanate glass-ceramics have been synthesized through sol-gel process. The small bulk transparent gel derived glass was got by heat-treating gel at 600degreesC. The pure nano-sized barium titanate crystals formed in the glass matrix after the gel derived glass was heated above 700degreesC. The grain size and structure transition of materials was also studied by using XRD, IR and Raman spectrum. The results indicated that the gels derived glass were easy to be crystallized, the heat-treatment temperature was increased, the crystalline size increased, and the cubic barium titanate transformed as tetragonal perovskite.
